Hi, I’m Shamika β€” also known as β€œBlu”

I’m the heart behind Blu Roses Garden LLC.

I’m a social worker, victim advocate, and nature lover who believes that support and growth don’t only happen in offices. Sometimes they happen during a quiet walk, sitting under a tree, or having an honest conversation with someone who understands both people and systems.

At Blu Roses Garden, I blend:

  • Compassionate listening
  • Practical, real-life guidance
  • Nature-inspired wellness experiences such as grounding, fresh air, and intentional slowing

My professional background includes work in child welfare, CPS, family justice centers, supervised visitation, early childhood services, and crisis response. I’ve also completed extensive training in victim advocacy, abuse response, and safety-focused support. We're Hiring dedicated team members.

My Approach

If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed, misunderstood, or judged by systems, my goal is to be the opposite of that.

Blu Roses Garden is a space for:

  • Clear, respectful conversations
  • Education and support rooted in real life
  • Structure, accountability, and care

This work is supportive and educational, not clinical or therapeutic.

🌱 What Working With Me Feels Like

When working with me, you can expect:

  • Respectful, non-judgmental support
  • Straightforward explanations in plain language
  • Space to talk, reflect, and plan
  • Practical suggestions that fit real-life circumstances

Support may occur through conversation, structured planning, nature-connected settings, or step-by-step goal work always withinΒ non-clinical boundaries.
