A Calm Space to Slow Down, Think Clearly, and Reset
The Nature-Based Support Session (Walk & Talk) is a private, one-on-one, non-clinical support experience designed for individuals who feel overwhelmed, burned out, grieving, or mentally overloaded and need a calm space to pause, reflect, and regain clarity.
Sessions combine gentle movement, natural surroundings, and supportive conversation to encourage grounding, emotional steadiness, and practical perspectiveβwithout clinical labels, diagnosis, or treatment.
This service is wellness-focused and non-therapeutic.
It does not include therapy, counseling, diagnosis, or medical or legal services.
Support Led by a Qualified Professional
Sessions are facilitated by Shamika Pompey, BSW, a Qualified Professional with over a decade of experience supporting individuals and families navigating stress, transitions, and complex systems.
This work is informed by professional training and lived experience. Nature has long served as a grounding space during periods of loss, disruption, and rebuildingβoffering quiet, perspective, and a sense of steadiness when life feels overwhelming.
These sessions are built on that same principle:
step outside, slow the pace, and allow the nervous system to settle so clearer thinking can emerge.
What the Session May Include
Each session offers a calm, supportive environment that may include:
- One-on-one support in a peaceful outdoor setting
- Open, supportive conversation guided by your needs
- Optional grounding and regulation techniques
- Stress reduction and emotional calming support
- Light, non-clinical coaching to clarify thoughts or next steps
- Optional breathwork or nature-based grounding practices
- A respectful, judgment-free space to be heard
Virtual sessions (phone or secure video) follow the same supportive structure without the walk.

How the Process Works
